More Nagoya Specialties

Other than hitsumabushi, other Nagoya specialties include cochin chicken wing and miso katsu (pork cutlet with miso sauce).

we tried these at a restaurant near our hotel. the miso katsu was very nice but the cochin chicken wing... hm... i have taste better fried chicken wings (such as the one in hakata's tenjin yatai). i had expected it to be crispy but it wasn't. and we couldn't figure out what's so special about cochin chicken other than the fact that they're larger... hahaha

we also had chicken ball porridge (nice comfort food in cold weather but if you like cantonese style congee like CC, you won't like this), chicken ball oyakodon, yakitori (thigh with wasabi), grilled quail eggs.




ok only la... not WAWAWA nice like the hitsumabushi hahaha.
