Pamper Your Face

Happy Women's Day! take some time to pamper yourself!!! ^^

i always believe that women MUST take care of their face and that includes daily cleansing with milk cleanser (make-up remover), facial cleanser, toner and moisturiser and weekly exfoliation and mask.

at least once a week, i will exfoliate my face and neck with khiel's microdermabrasion and apply a mask. then, it's a choice of affordable masks from sasa or watson's to moderately priced fancl and loccitane ones to exorbitant sisley and creme de la mer ones. paper masks need more time (10-15 mins) whereas the tube ones need only 3-5 mins so depending on whether i have the time and what my skin needs, i choose the appropriate one. there are deep-cleansing masks, hydrating masks, collagen, ginseng-infused masks, whitening, radiance mask etc. when i run out of masks, i just apply a layer of UMF20+ manuka honey ^^

if i have the time, i will use a massage cream before the mask.

yeah, tis very important to pamper your face...

from top right: sisley radiance mask, sisley phyto-blanc whitening mask, herbal deep-cleansing mask (from japan), rose massage cream (from japan), khiel's microdermabrasion, collagen and ginseng masks from sasa, fancl hydrating and whitening masks, loccitane immortelle mask, creme de la mer mask.

and EVERY MORNING before i go to work, i need to use the following before i brush on my powder with a kabuki brush:

cleanser, toner, anti-aging serum, moisturiser (i use sisley's all day all year now, very good, supposed to protect your skin even after the effect of sunblock has worn off), SUNBLOCK (very important!!!), make-up base (sisley's radiant immediate lift make-up base supposedly contains mother of pearl that makes skin GLOW... and it's also supposed to "lift" the face contours... coolz).

from left: sisley phyto-blanc buff and wash gel, sisley phyto-blanc toner, sisley anti-aging radiance concentrate, sisley all day all year, japanese brand sunblock, sisley radiant immediate lift.

some people think WA!!! so many layers!!! but actually they just get absorbed and they're colourless one. it's mainly preventive and protective stuff. i just CANNOT imagine going out WITHOUT sunblock... it's skin suicide i tell u... 20 years later, your laziness/bochapness/giam siap ness will come back and haunt you... in the form of wrinkles, freckles and melasma!! don't say i neh warn you! start now!
